Proud of this Ink mark:
- For it distinguishes us from Pakistan and Sheikhdoms where the outgoing ruler is either jailed like Nawaj Sharief, Hanged like Julficar Ali Bhutto, or killed like Benazir Bhutto,
- For it distinguishes us from China who craves and die for it but dreads Tienmin Square.
- For it defeats that handful amongst Kashmiris who sometimes don't seem to value it and would rather stone pelt it.
- That marks the end of horrible times when a brother Aurangzeb murders his brother Dara Shikoh ( follower of Upanishads and Sain Mian Mir and Sh Guru Arjun Devji} against wishes of his father or the ones when Shajahan was jailed by his own son; both for their lust for tyrannic autocracy.
- That marks the end of horrible times when the British would convert and send Prince Daleep Singh before even his adolescence to exile, commit Jallian Wala massacre, hangs freedom fighters, plunders India and sends Patriotic Maharaja Ripudaman Singh(Nabha) and other die-hard patriots to Andaman Cellular Jail called 'Kaala Pani'.
- For it marks the maturity and the grace with which we accept our ideological arc rivals, both winners and losers, as our own true self.
- That brings us on the same page as modern democratic societies as US, UK, Japan, France, even Russia(!) and all the rest of the civilized world!
