Islam is a complete, complex culture in which the individuals, societies, and governments should all reflect the will of God. Muslim traditions and Islamic scholars' interpretations, in the name of Sharia and Quran, even in secular countries like India in the matters of polygamy, inheritance rights, hijab, burqa even at and against the norms and rules being observed at schools, colleges, workplaces (keeping women isolated or confining them to home), and veiling, a toolkit of oppression is a slap on the face of a secular state and constitution and leaves one baffled.
