With due respect to the Hon'ble Supreme court of India. It's only too apparent that arbitrary and even idiosyncratic conduct of the judges, rampant corruption, and naked connivance with lobbies, seriously contravene the principle of judicial aloofness and thereby crossing the redlines in breach of minimum acceptable standards of decency and appropriateness for the position of the Judge in question and in general, that they hold. This is an ailment that plagues this institution in the worst degrees as one descent down the ladder. However, examples like this show that not only the rot are widespread but it is being encouraged, driven, and fueled from the very pinnacle. This dents the trust of the people in the vital institution and democracy. Inability or unwillingness to contain is both a failure of and abdication of constitutional duties on the part of the Modi Government as well.
